Title:Financial Analyst

Job Description:

• Assists the Finance Director with the monthly forecast and monthly close. Prepares the monthly production flash and forecast, rights summary and reconciliation, and variance explanations.
• Oversees accounts payable and invoice processing. Assists the Accounting Assistant with policies and procedures and ensures accurate invoice coding and proper batching.
• Helps prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and ensure budget adherence.
• Supports and provides information to Corporate Financial Analysts and ensures that items are booked correctly.
• Manages all miscellaneous accounts receivable items, including underwritten events, visitor feeds, and collection issues associated with those billings.
• Performs various ad hoc projects, including PPV tracking and billing, rights analysis and departmental expense trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related area plus a minimum of 2-3 years finance/accounting experience is necessary. Previous experience in entertainment industry accounting/finance is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills are need. Strong math, accounting and analysis skills are essential. Superior organizational and project management skills are needed.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel is necessary.
• Proven skills in forecasting and analysis are necessary.
• The ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment is essential.

Title:Staff Auditor – Hotel Internal Audit

Job Description:

Performs professional internal auditing and SOX 404 compliance work. Work involves conducting performance, financial and compliance audits/projects; providing consulting services to various levels of the organization’s management team and staff; and providing input to development of the annual audit plan. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Auditors are expected to travel globally, up to three weeks per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in identifying and evaluating the organization’s risk areas and provides input to the development of the annual audit plan;
• Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures;
• Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers;
• Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed;
• Participates in the communication of the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management;
• Develops and maintains productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings;
• Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers;
• Represents Internal Audit on organization project teams and at management meetings;
• Performs additional special projects as assigned by Internal Audit management.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 0 - 2 years of full-time experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation (public accounting and/or internal audit experience a plus).
