How many applications are typically received? How many are admitted? 
For the 2007 - 08 academic year, the MTAX program received approximately 59 applications. About 35 students were admitted.

When will I know the decision on my application?
The School reviews applications only one time each year. Students who apply by the March 1 deadline will be notified of the admission decision directly by the Division of Graduate Studies in early May.

If not admitted, can I be reviewed for the next application year?
If your application does not result in admission, you must submit an entirely new application.

Do I have to turn in all application materials together at one time?
Yes, after filing your on-line application with the Division of Graduate Studies, all remaining materials must be submitted together in one application package (see Application Process for complete details). Be sure that your name and student id and document reference number are clearly indicated on each document and that all materials reach us by the March 1 deadline.

Can I fax application materials?
No, only original application materials are acceptable.

Can I apply on-line?
Actually, you must submit your Division of Graduate Studies application for admission via the web at http://www.asu.edu/graduate/admissions, no paper applications are available. Please be sure to also submit the "candidate-managed" portion of your application directly to Division of Graduate Studies (see Application Process for complete details).

How much does it cost to apply?
The Division of Graduate Studies application fee is currently US $50 for each application.

Can I get a waiver of the application fee?
ASU cannot waive, defer, or refund the fee.

You must submit a complete application packet for each program. The application fee is $50 for each separate application.
